It’s going to be a year of greater exposure and sales for many. For this to happen, certain things need to be put in place. One of these is setting up listings for your business. Today we are talking about listing your business on Google.
Why do you need a business listing? According to Google, Your listing appears right when people are searching for your business or businesses like yours on Google Search or Maps. Google My Business makes it easy to create and update your listing—so you can stand out, and bring customers in.
How do you go about it?
Open your internet browser, make sure you are logged in to your Google account then input business.google.com
The process is really simple. Just follow the instructions. Input your email address ( your Google email), Business name, location, add pictures, working days and hours and get verified.
Once your business is verified, it will be listed on Google and when someone searches for your type of business in your locality, your details show right on top in the map section.
